WATCH: Cher and Georgia Singing 'I'm Just Your Yesterday' on 'Ellen'

Cher and her mother Georgia Holt performed their new duet 'I'm Just Your Yesterday' on 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show'.

Of course, Cher's mother Georgia released her first album, 'Honky Tonk Woman', yesterday and the pair have appeared on two high-profile chat shows since - 'The Tonight Show with Jay Leno' and 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show'.

Whilst there isn't any news to report from Cher and Georgias' appearance on the former show, the latter show gave us, as expected, a performance that you're probably itching to see if you haven't yet been able to.

Cher and her mother performed a shortened version of the song 'I'm Just Your Yesterday' which is their duet on Georgia's new country album (go buy it!).

The song has so far peaked at number 2 on Amazon's Easy Listening MP3 Songs chart and number 11 on the UK's Amazon Country MP3 Songs chart. 'Honky Tonk Woman' has peaked at: number 2 on Amazon's Easy Listening MP3 Albums chart; number 5 on Germany's iTunes Store Country Albums chart; number 4 on Switzerland's iTunes Store Country Albums chart; and number 13 on the UK's Amazon Country MP3 Albums chart.

Update: Some of you will have noticed that Cher and her mother lip-synched the song (although Cher can be heard singing right at the start of the performance) - Cher has since took to Twitter to explain the reason why.

When one Twitter user accused Cher of lying, saying, "You lie to your fans, you didn't sing!", Cher responded, "That's not true! I told the audience that because my mom had been sick, we had to lip-synch! The 'Ellen' show decided to cut that [part]!"

The unpleasant tweet containing the lie accusation came shortly after Cher had tweeted her followers, "I can tell you now, just how strong my mom is. She was sicker than I let on. She is on the mend now but her pneumonia was life-threatening."

She continued, "Yesterday, my 87-year-old mom - sick for two months and 13lbs lighter - worked from 11AM until 11PM! She is the definitive 'Honky Tonk Woman'!"
